The consistent creator
Nobody Is Watching. Post Anyway.
Let’s be honest.
Creating content is exciting when you first start. You have ideas, you imagine your videos reaching thousands of people, and you picture the day your account finally starts growing.
Then you post your first video.
You check the views. Nothing much happens.
You post again. A few likes.
You spend hours creating something you’re proud of, only to see someone else’s simple video get more attention in a few minutes.
And slowly, a question enters your mind:
What’s the point of continuing if nobody is watching?
If you’ve ever felt this way, you’re not alone.
The difficult part of being a new creator isn’t always coming up with ideas. Sometimes, it’s finding the courage to keep sharing them when the response is quieter than you hoped.
But here’s something worth remembering: your current audience is not a measurement of your future potential.
You are learning how to communicate, tell stories, understand an audience, develop your creative voice, and make better content. Much of that progress happens before the numbers reflect it.
You don’t need to pretend that likes don’t matter. Of course, you want your work to reach people. You want engagement, growth, opportunities, and recognition.
But you cannot build a sustainable creative career if every post determines whether you feel capable of continuing.
So, for now, change the goal.
Instead of asking, “Did this post make me popular?” ask, “What did I learn from making it?”
Instead of asking, “Why am I growing so slowly?” ask, “What can I improve in my next post?”
And instead of waiting until you feel motivated again, make the next step small enough to begin today.
You don’t have to go viral to make progress.
You don’t have to be perfect to publish.
And you don’t have to prove your potential to everyone before you start taking yourself seriously.
Your job is to keep learning, keep creating, and give your efforts enough time to develop.
Welcome to The Consistent Creator. Let’s build a routine that lasts longer than a burst of motivation.
