TNPSC Exam Preparation Guide (Jeevansdigitalhub)

This is a study manual for aspirants of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) exams, covering Groups I, II, IIA, IV and other TNPSC recruitment tests. It has a front and back cover plus a six-page guide, and is published by Jeevansdigitalhub under the Academy Press imprint.

What the guide covers

• Chapter 1: TNPSC and exam framework. It explains TNPSC as a constitutional body under Article 315, with roots in the Madras Service Commission of 1929. It lists the major cadres and posts (Group 1: Deputy Collector, DSP; Group 2/2A; Group 4: VAO, Junior Assistant, Typist) with their selection stages, and notes the revised upper age limits for Group 1, IA and IB.

• Chapter 2: Syllabus blueprint. It sets out the unified 10-unit General Studies structure, from General Science, Current Events, Geography, History, Polity and Economy to TN History, Development Administration and Aptitude. It also gives the standard pattern: 200 MCQs in 180 minutes for 300 marks, with a Tamil eligibility paper (100 questions, 40% minimum) and General Studies plus Aptitude (100 questions).

• Chapter 3: Strategy and timetable. It provides a 9-hour daily study routine and a 90-day beginner roadmap in four phases: fundamentals, major portions, intensive PYQ practice, and full revision with mock tests.

• Chapter 4: PYQs and revision. It claims 60–70% of questions repeat, based on 81 General Studies exams from 2020 to 2026, and explains how to use that for high-yield topics and time management. It also describes a 3-level revision method (24 hours, weekly, monthly).

• Chapter 5: Digital tools and application specs. It lists practice platforms (Pass TNPSC, TNPSCAI.in, TNPSC Mate, ArivoliAI, TNPSC EXAM Question Bank) and the photo and signature upload requirements for applications.
