The Summer We Almost Missed

Meera Raghunathan came home to Chennai with two suitcases, no job and no plan. Her architecture firm has closed, and her big dreams have shrunk to a jobs portal and her mother’s filter coffee. Then, on the sand at Elliot’s Beach, she runs into Arjun Krishnan. He was her college classmate, the almost-something she never quite said goodbye to, and now he is recording the sea for an album he is afraid to finish. As the monsoon gathers over the city, an old family house needs saving, two old feelings need saying aloud, and two big opportunities arrive on the same day. Each of them is trying so hard to protect the other’s dream that they risk losing the thing they most want. The Summer We Almost Missed is a warm, hopeful contemporary romance about timing, ambition, family and second chances. It has a happy ending. Perfect for readers who love sweet, emotional love stories, Indian settings, friends-to-lovers romance and stories about finding your way home.
