The Letter I Never Sent

Here is everything for The Letters I Never Sent. None of it gives away the twist. Back cover blurb "I fell in love with a man whose letters were older than me." When copy editor Maeve Ellery inherits a crumbling Edinburgh bookshop from a stranger, she plans to sell it by Sunday. Then she finds the tea chest in the cellar: 365 love letters, all addressed to her, all written in 1979. Twenty years before she was born. Every letter describes a moment from her life. The ones that haven't happened yet come true. And the one she's never told anyone, the one that still keeps her awake, is written down in perfect, tender detail. The man who wrote them is still alive. The man next door, with ink on his thumb and a clock that runs seven minutes fast, seems to know more than he should. And someone has been writing Maeve's love story long before she ever met him. Can you choose a love that was already written? A slow-burn mystery about letters, time and the courage it takes to finish your own sentence.
